Smoked Prime Rib
- 6.75lb. prime rib of beef
- 2 tbsp beef base
- 3 tbsp REC TEC Grills Ben's Heffer Dust
- 1 tbsp thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp sage, chopped
- Pre-heat REC TEC Grill to 300℉.
- Trim any loose fat or meat from the rib roast.
- Rub the beef base all over the roast, then season with Ben's Heffer Dust and fresh herbs.
- Smoke the roast to an internal temp. of 130℉ (2-2.5 hours).
- Allow the roast to rest for 20-30 minutes prior to slicing.
