Marinated Flank Steak

Flank Steak:
  • 2 large flank steaks
  • 4 tbsp REC TEC Grills Ben's Heffer Dust
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  1. Combine all marinade ingredients and mix well.
  2. Trim any excess fat and silver skin (membrane) from the ends of the flank steak.
  3. Cover and marinate in fridge for 4-8 hours.
  4. Pre-heat REC TEC grill to full using a sear kit.
  5. Remove steak from marinade and wipe off any excess with a paper towel.
  6. Season with Ben's Heffer Dust and sear 6-8 minutes per side (130ºF-133ºF for medium rare).
  7. Let rest for 15 minutes and slice thin across the grain.

    Fantastic flank steak. I made zip sauce to go with...and the steak was so good we barely used it. Marinade was perfect. Juicy, full of flavor...a new regular for us :)

    Great marinade for flank steak. I didn't have salad oil so used olive oil. My son's first bite resulted in a " oh my god this is awesome!"

    I used this recipe this evening and got the best tasting flank steak ever. It was tender and the marinade was dead on. The mustard and lemon juice resulted in a standout result.
