Made these a couple times to bring to friends houses for get together and they don’t last long!

  • Cream cheese

Been making these for years, many different variations, a couple tips.

Use the chive and onion cream cheese for way more flavor.

As the recipe states thin bacon, thick won't produce well.

For a spicier popper go hotter for shorter time, milder to slower longer, but either way you only need 20ish minutes around 350 to crisp the bacon.

A littler sweet run on the outside goes a long way.

  • Hit at pot luck lunch

Posted by Dennis R on 18th Nov 2016

Made these for a pot luck lunch at work. Big hit! Added a cup if shredded Italian cheese blend to mixture. Used 20 jalapenos and about 1 1/2 lb of bacon. Set REC TEC mini to 375 degrees for 45 minutes.

  • These are great!

I used the 375 for 45 and that was just a little underdone (I think you have to adjust for Jalapeno size). I cooked them for an hour the next time and they came out perfect.

Try Italian sausage for the filing... Those are my favorite so far.

  • These are delicious!

Made these for a gathering at our church tonight. They were delicious and everyone raved about them. Tomorrow I buy more peppers, cream cheese, bacon and sausage.

Try this recipe with crab instead of sausage. Amazing!
