Country Fried Steak Nuggets

  • 4lbs. cubed beef steak
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 4 tbsp REC TEC Grills Ray's Front Row Master Blend
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper


Seasoned Dredge:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 tbsp REC TEC Grills Ben's Heffer Dust
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper
  1. In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, hot sauce, and seasoning, then mix well.
  2. Add the cubed steak and marinate for 2-4 hours.
  3. In the REC TEC Matador, pre-heat the oil to 350°F.  
  4. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dredge and mix well.
  5. Add the steak nuggets to the dredge, shaking off any excess.
  6. Add to the hot oil and fry for approximately 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

    Can't get enough of this fried steak. Gravy tops it off perfect. Love my Rt-340 and my Matador!
