  • 16 whole quail
  • 1/2lb. bacon
  • 3 tbsp REC TEC Grills Ron's Kickin' Espresso Joe Rub
  • 4oz REC TEC Gourmet BBQ Sauce
  1. Debone the quail and separate the breast and leg quarters.
  2. Preheat REC TEC to 350‚Ñâ.
  3. Season the boneless quail with the Ron's Kickin' Espresso Joe Rub.
  4. Wrap each piece of quail with 1/2 strip of bacon and place on a grill mat.
  5. Cook for 30-35 minutes until the bacon is crisp and the quail is at least 165‚Ñâ internal temperature.
  6. Apply BBQ sauce at the end of your cook just prior to pulling quail.

    I never had quail before but after seeing the Funday Friday video I thought I would give it a try. They turned out great! Cant wait tottery more tailgate foods on my REC TEC!!
