The REC TEC Mini does a great job!

Mike -

Got my Mini about four weeks ago and after one initial hiccup (had to replace a bad temperature probe), I have gone on to cook up some delicious ribs, chicken and pork butt.

Having upgraded from a Weber bullet-type smoker, the REC TEC Mini is truly "push button simple." I did a lot of research before investing in the Mini, looking at some $1,500 smokers, but realized for my small family the REC TEC Mini was the best overall choice in value and convenience. Nice job REC TEC!

Outstanding Customer Support

Michael from Tulsa -

Grill wouldn't keep running for more than 20 - 40 minutes at a time. Had to keep restarting it. Turns out that the temp sensor had frayed wires (mostly likely from customer faux pas during assembly). Anyway, Ron walked me through a couple troubleshooting steps and had the replacement part sent right away. Since then, I've been making great food including the some homemade bacon.

Seems to work well

Travis McBride -

Do not let get wet. Already lost one to moisture but now have spare. Retec personnel explained the loop and how the thermocouple controls everything. Seems to run higher than Maverick 732 but it is working off a matrix as explained to me so it is trying to hit an average temp. Love the Rec Tec though

keeps the temp in my RecTec to my exact setting

Ken Whitley, San Angelo1556 -

My other temp gauge died. I called RecTec described the problem and they sent me another one. Could not have been any easier.

Temp probe review.

Bill Wyko -

This is just one part that works in perfect harmony with many more to cook your food at the perfect temperature. Couldn't be happier. It so happens mine is smoking some cheese as I type.

Perfect replacement part

David -

My other sensor failed and ReTec sent me this replacement part. It was so easy to do, my 4 year old did most of the work. Made an awesome pulled pork butt that same day. Great service!!
